Understanding it's a two way street!
Any form of sponsorship or support is lucrative in the current economic market and with high levels of competition seeking the same level of support companies need to ensure that they choose the right person to promote their products.
Understanding that support should be a two way street can often be lost with riders once support is given. However, I strongly believe that if supported the rider owes the company legion especially if a company believes in my abilities enough to support me and my ambitions. Therefore I aim to ensure that I can offer them a high level of promotion that is unique, effective and professional which will hopefully see returns in terms of creating new customers to your company.

What can I offer.....

Each company may have different requirements for what they might feel is the most effective form of advertisement for their company. I am always open to new suggestions but I also strive to develop unique and effective methods that can help promote my supporters.
Below is a list of opportunities I have been able to provide for my supporters:
- Custom designed items showing Company logos/ Names and websites. Items such as Saddle Pads, Rugs, Jackets, Team Clothing, XC colours and Lorry Graphics could all be done either provided by your company or myself if required.
- Product Reviews can create a great opportunity for companies to gain information/ testimonials of their products. Word of mouth is an extremely useful tool; I have a strong equestrian network and companies have often seen new customers through my recommendations of products. I also use my website and twitter account to product reviews which can be viewed at a worldwide audience.
- Tack Parties are also something that I can offer. Often these are done via Riding Clubs or Livery Yards so they can have an extremely large turn-over. These create great opportunities for new products to be show cased and for people to try products. Not being able to try items in the flesh is often identified as a reason for why people still don’t buy certain items via websites so these tack parties can form a great opportunity to showcase certain products to a group.
- Advertisement at Equestrian Events. Often sponsorship of events can be expensive for instance sponsorship of an XC jump at a British Eventing Event can cost anything from £100 up to £2500. Already this season I managed to secure advertisement at Northallerton British Eventing horse trials (see picture of the Equifeast Step combination jump) this season for one of my supporters for no cost. Northallerton Horse Trials had over 400 competitors but in total around 1000 people visited the site and therefore probably say the advertisement or heard the company mentioned on the XC commentary. This in turn created custom for the company and created product awareness at no cost.
- Media Advertisement opportunities in National and Local level Magazines and Newspapers. These have included write ups and pictures through competition reports, Master classes and Advertisement endorsements.
- Updates on Websites and Twitter that can inform the public of new products or News relating to your company , or even blogging about your products on Horse Junkies United to a world wide audience.
- I am also passionate about developing my sport and I’m actively trying to develop new ideas to put forward to relevant Equestrian bodies/ Magazine editors. One idea in particular has seen strong support and I am hoping to report of positive actions being taken in the near future.
For any company or individual willing to support us at any time no matter how large or small their level of support or sponsorship may be; I promise to continue to promote that company even beyond the timescale of support that individual/ company chooses to support me. All companies or individuals who have supported me in the past or present competition season will remain on my Sponsors and Supporters page on my website so hopefully my gratitude can continue to help develop further business for those individuals.
